Degenerative Scoliosis

A normal spine should go straight down the middle of your back. However, scoliosis causes the spine to curve in one direction. In some cases, the spine will remain in this position. It is also possible that the spine may start to rotate as the condition progresses.

Causes of degenerative scoliosis are fairly broad. It’s important to have your family medical history reviewed and to be examined by our neurologist if you were previously diagnosed with scoliosis and begin to have increased trouble with your back.
